No! Both the Smart ID and the associated dashboard work through a webpage. All you need is a working internet connection.
Absolutely! The advantage of MEPATAG is that it's completely supplier-independent. So you can use it perfectly as a single, central platform.
We offer two options: We laser-etch the components after your supplier has manufactured them, or we simply supply the digital data. In that case, your supplier takes care of laser-etching the tag.
Thee MEPATAG can be applied to any type of metal, finish, or color. The only requirement is that there is sufficient space to attach the tag.
The ideal size is 15x15mm. If necessary, 10x10mm is also possible. If this isn't possible due to the size of the component, we can offer a separate plate.
